The first meeting of the Steering Committee of the project "Informed and experienced for sustainable agriculture" was held on 12 September 2012 in Sofia, attended by representatives of all partners - European Federation of Trade Unions of agriculture, food, tourism, EFFAT, sectoral trade unions of Macedonia, Romania, Germany, France, Italy and employers' organizations from Bulgaria - and NSZKB BAAP, which Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Agriculture maintains an active social dialogue.

The project "Informed and experienced for sustainable agriculture" aims to analyze the system for informing and consulting work in the agricultural sector in the various countries of the EU, in order to offer transnational exchange of good and effective practices among partner countries, in order to improve the establishment and operation of structures of workers representatives in farms and lead to a positive impact on the development of industrial relations in the sector, particularly on the socio strengthen dialogue and collective bargaining. The project will prepare a study and analysis on implementation of the rights of information and consultation in the partner countries, also will organize three national workshops - to raise awareness and capacity of representatives of workers and employers and employees on the subject and will be held Transnational conference with a wide range of stakeholders at national and European level, in order to promote and strengthen the role of social dialogue and industrial relations in the modern agricultural sector.
